How long do Dutch braids with extensions last?
Some will last just for a couple of days (eg. If going to White Water World the next day!) or some of our regular customers have left them in and looking good and frizz free for upto 3 weeks.
Can you put box braids in short hair?
Cornrows, box braids, and micro braids are the best for short hair. With these styles, you may not need to add extensions, or if you choose to, they don’t need to be long or large extensions.
What are permanent hair extensions?
Permanent hair extensions are extensions that are meant to stay in the hair for an extended period of time and in most instances are installed and removed by a salon professional.
How do you blend thick hair extensions?
Here are some of our top tips for blending our extensions into thick hair.
- Clip the wefts higher on your head. By clipping the wefts in higher on your head or spreading them apart more it can help create a seamless blend.
- Wash your extensions.
- Braid the bottom section of your hair.
- Style your hair!
How short is too short for braids?
You need hair that is at least 2 inches (minimum) long, but it’s best to have hair 4-5 inches. Know that braiding short hair is a little more challenging than longer hair. But any hair type – coily, curly, wavy, and straight – will look great in braids.
What are Goddess braids?
Goddess braids are essentially thicker cornrows. They’re bigger in size, raised higher, and are also braided closely to your scalp. They can be styled in so many ways for every occasion; you can go from the gym, straight to work, then out to drinks, all while protecting your hair and looking superchic.
How short can your hair be to get cornrows?
Hair should be at least two inches long when braiding hair extensions into cornrows. Besides needing sufficient length to hold the cornrow style in place, you also need enough length to hold the weight of the additional hair. For hair that’s only two to three inches in length, avoid very long extensions.
